nel dc : N/A ::: can u give me tutorials for this earth i really need it badly thanks
Grant warwick : N/A ::: You can get the blue glow by using the video post> asign a camera>asign an input (lense eefect glow) then adjust the settings in the glow setup until your happy...once you get used to it, it is quite easy to produce a photorealistic atmoshphere. making plantes in max 5 is quite eas actually...just give me an email if anyone would like some help at puppyfat666@hotmail.com
jorge : www.allsolution.com.ar/jb ::: this glow could be video post. -- -- nice work, i love those bumps
Ud0 Kierr : N/A ::: i´d just like to know how to create the border pale blue glow, i´ve triede many ways but i´m still not quite good. great work, especially meshing.
MST3K : N/A ::: Great view of earth. To those asking for more stars, if he is trying to make a realistic earth view from space, the camera wouldn't really pick up stars well.
WILLY : N/A ::: IT SEEMS LIKE I'M IN SPACE LOOKING AT IT. VERY NICE WORK. THROW SOME TUT ON THAT ONE CAN YOU? --
mbida patrick : N/A ::: very nice! i'll just like know how i too, could create a planet like that? --
Ryan : N/A ::: Did you make this in Max? How did you make this in Max?
Relax : N/A ::: ...Impressive...Just Go Go Go...
Netflash : N/A ::: Great image! any chance of posting some tut about it? -- Can you explain how you did it?
Felipe Zuleta : http://www.kuantis.com ::: definetely looks great, quite realistic :)
Mike : N/A ::: Very nice work. Interested if a lot of that was done in a 2D package once the 3D part was rendered. Also what kinds of maps were used ( Viewpoint ? ) Most importanly ... how you got the shading to work ? It would be great if you could post/send an example. Thanks :)
Paul van Aarle : N/A ::: A small step for man? No way. This is progress. Are there living man on that globe? Cause I'm looking for a one of some kind to download, just to put in my own scenes to get a grip on the human scale. Can you help? -- Thanks anyway, and nice work! -- -- Paul. (the Netherlands)
Oliver : www.martestudio.com ::: Great! Better than most renderings I have seen yet. Still, creating a realistic view of earth is one of the most difficult things to do because it is not a sight that we are generally familiar with. In my projects, I have tried to copy the look of authentic NASA pictures, even though reality might not be as likeable as I would like. That means, the glow is never really so big unless you are very very close to the planet, and the light saturation is usually stronger. The terminator (limit between light and dark areas) is very sharp due to Earth's atmosphere scattering, etc. In the end it is a matter of artistic visualization. Some like to stick to reality, others want an image that looks more appealing. I consider yours to be the latter, and I like it very much.
Flex : N/A ::: Its oukey. I think your New version will be better. In orher words, you must give him more realistik. In example for the athmospere and the clouds. I think jou will manage that in the second version professionaly. But the mapings are finaly good. Greeting from Swisserland. TO YA.
Quino : N/A ::: In this image I can see where I live... it's too far than i could reach in my next three lives..Very Good Job
Knuckels : N/A ::: yeah its the best earth in 3dmax i ever see .. is it possible to get it later at your download section ? =) Thx
Mike Kelleher : N/A ::: Great Image. -- -- PLease fill us in on how you did it a bit more. Specifically, I'd love to know how you got the realistic reflection and spec hit off the ocean. Could you provide a quick step though? -- -- Thanks, -- -- Mike --
sagar : N/A ::: it"s gr8
Albérico Duarte : N/A ::: Hi -- -- I´m finishing college and i created a group to make an independent film also. -- Glad to see that i´m not the only one :) -- -- your earth is great...very realistic....the atmosferic glow also helps a lot. Keep up the good work -- -- Albérico
Zephyr Battiassi : N/A ::: Nice looking.Good job. :) It's all I can say. Impressive --
Thomas Banner : http://www.3dfrontier.com/~banner/ ::: I really like how you put this Earth together. However I do the the glow on the planet is a little dead. If you used a gradient falloff map you might wanna add more varieties of the blue in it. And if you're using glow then try doing the same. Try getting a wee bit white in at the edge of the Earth and then let it morph into the blue for the outerglow. -- -- Keep it up! :-)
josh : N/A ::: it needs more stars in the background but still so much better than anything i could do.
bizdrem : www.norwegianjackass.com ::: the only model on this page I could kinda copy by mixing my earth and starscape models..
Bill : http://ba-flash.com ::: Very nicely done, but what is the point of modeling the earth? There are so many current images of it!
GOD___ : www.members.home.net/aaron-talyor/BowlofFruit800x600.jpg ::: Very nice, I love your work. Your work inspires me to learn more and more about Max. One thing I am wondering about is why so few stars in the background? -- -- Jun there is a good tutorial at 3D Cafe. It has the maps and everything. -- -- http://www.noirextreme.com/digital/digital001122.htm
Jun : N/A ::: Hi from KOREA :D -- -- WOW~! -- It`s such a realistic earth. -- I wanna know what kind of maps did you use to make this? -- It`s a great image...
